Marilyn’s Soul Session Summary

Have you ever wanted to do tarot but you’re afraid you’ll do it wrong? When you use your personal experience to understand and read the cards, you can get answers to your most pressing questions without that worry!

Today, I’m going to give you six steps for using your personal experience to do a reading for yourself. In that process, you can discover what action to take. It can also reveal any hidden blocks that might need resolved.

Weekly Wisdom: We can never find the answers when we’re stuck in a problem. We experience answers when we’re in flow. Tarot can help you find that flow.

Here’s how to do a reading for yourself to answer a question:

1. Think of your question and pull a card (it doesn’t matter what deck). You can use a random picture from a magazine or book if you don’t have a tarot deck.

2. What is the first thing you see? What’s the thing that draws your eyes? Write it down.

3. How does what you see make you feel? Does it bring up a memory, remind you of a past experience, or tap into old patterns? Write down your answer.

4. How does the object and what you feel about it apply to your current situation? You can ask the object you first saw what it’s telling you. Using your imagination is okay. In fact, you have to use your imagination when doing a reading because that’s part of how your Guides interact with you! Write down your answer.

5. If you don’t like what the card is telling you, ask what you can do to have a more positive outcome. Again, it is fine to use your imagination. Write down your answer.

6. Ask for one action step that you can complete in the next twenty-four hours. Write down your answer.

7. Take action. Complete the action step you received. The best advice in the world is useless if you don’t use it!

Bonus step: Repeat the above each time you aren’t sure what your next step is or when you have another question.Next week, I’ll be live on Tuesday at 12 pm Pacific. Feel free to invite your friends and family to join us, too. I’m looking forward to seeing you there!
