Marilyn’s Soul Session Summary

Catherine’s story is one of sadness and devastation that turned into radiant joy and soul-aligned bliss.

Catherine worked for The World Health Organization for sixteen years until she decided to leave and do some traveling. She visited India, but when she returned, there were lots of envelopes waiting for her.
Those envelopes contained an alarming story. While she was gone, a banker had made off with all of her money—her retirement investments, savings, the pension WHO deposited when she left, and every cent she had except for the very small amount she had on her person.
The story gets darker. Catherine was an abused child who had left in her late twenty’s and vowed never to return. But desperation and financial ruin sent her back to the home and family that abused her.
They treated her like a burden, barely spoke to or interacted with her, and made her ask for permission to eat. Then, one day, her mother kicked her out without any warning. For several years, Catherine lived on the streets, sold what few belongings she had to eat, lived in a homeless shelter, and eventually returned to live with her mother. The abuse picked up immediately.
And then, one day, she’d had enough. In her words:
“They were like, ‘If you aren’t who we want you to be, we won’t support you. You will be left hanging until you break.’ And I decided, ‘Hell no! I have come too far. I have gone through too much. And I don’t care what happens. I’m going to stand right here.’ And that was it. I was determined that I was no longer that person because I recognized that I was never that person to begin with.”
Catherine transformed her life. She now runs her own business, has written a book, and helps others live their truths.

Catherine Hidalgo I don’t even know if I know how or what that means. Lots of things I like to do but never feel complete or satisfied. I only seem to know what I don’t want, been trying to connect with my purpose and higher self for awhile, don’t know what’s blocking things.
